Payment at Time of Service
Copays, deductibles, coinsurance, and self-pay charges are due at the time of service.
Our office is happy to assist with insurance benefit verification; however, verification of benefits is not a guarantee of coverage or payment. Patients are responsible for understanding their insurance plan benefits, coverage requirements, limitations, and exclusions.
Any estimate of your expected responsibility is based on the benefit information available to us at the time of service. Final coverage and payment is determined by your insurance plan when your claim is processed.
Cancellation Policy
We ask for at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or change your appointment so we have an opportunity to offer that time to another patient.
Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice, or missed appointments, are subject to a $40 cancellation fee. Massage appointments and new-patient appointments may be subject to a higher fee due to the extended time reserved for your visit.
Insurance Covered Care
We work with many major insurance plans and are happy to help you navigate the billing process. Coverage varies by plan, and we encourage you to confirm your individual benefits before beginning care.
For Chiropractic care we accept and bill:
Auto Accident Care (PIP): We welcome patients with Personal Injury Protection (PIP) coverage. For third-party liability claims, care is available on a self-pay basis.MASSAGE THERAPY
60-minute Self-Pay massage: $90 until December 31 2026
$95 after January 1 2027
Self-Pay Massage appointments can be booked directly online - no verification needed. To use insurance for massage, please contact our office before scheduling.
We provide insurance-billed massage therapy for qualifying plans and injury-related care. Because coverage and authorization requirements vary, please call our office before scheduling if you would like to bill insurance.
Kaiser Permanente
Massage therapy typically requires prior authorization from a Kaiser-approved provider. Once we receive your authorization, we'll help you schedule visits within the approved number of treatments and authorization dates. Check your plan details and give us a call!
Personal Injury Protection (PIP)
We welcome patients receiving massage therapy following an auto accident. An active massage therapy referral and claim information are required to schedule your first appointment.
VA/TriWest
We accept authorized VA/TriWest massage therapy care. A current VA authorization must be received by our office before appointments can be scheduled.
Regence / Blue Shield
Beginning January 1, 2027, we will no longer provide insurance-billed massage therapy for Regence or Blue Shield plans. Self-pay massage remains available.
A Quick Note: Patients are responsible for understanding their massage benefits, visit limits, and authorization requirements. Insurance verification or authorization does not guarantee payment or coverage. If your insurance denies a claim because plan requirements were not met or available benfits were exceeded, you will be responsible for the amount billed to your insurance plan.

WHAT TO EXPECT
Your first Chiropractic visit is a 45-60 minute Intake, Exam, and Adjustment. Dr. Christopher will take time to listen to what brings you into our office, your conditions, health history, and health goals.
After a physical exam determining Range of Motion in the joints, strength testing, and visual analysis of posture and gait X-rays will be performed if indicated.
Our office does not use X-ray for every patient. The Intake and Exam process will also screen for any contraindication to manual adjustment, and to assess whether you would benefit from other modalities offered such as Cold-Laser, basic nutritional supplementation, or Massage Therapy.
Dr. Christopher would like to see you in the office one week after your first visit and adjustment and in this appointment your feedback and a physical assessment will allow Dr. Christopher to recommend a comprehensive treatment plan which may include additional adjustments
